Thread: German states

i cannot enter my correct address into my address book. probably because "Sachsen-Annhalt" and "Sachsen" have the same abbreviation (SAC) in your system it is not possible to select "Sachsen". everytime i try i get an error telling me to choose a state from the drop down menu. i tried all the other german states which all worked.
so to place an order i chose "Sachsen-Annhalt" instead of "Sachsen" figuring that if it's only "SAC" in the address there would be no problems. however, the actual shipping address includes the whole state name.
in the end everything worked (my credit card was balanced and the shippment arrived) but i might have been just lucky. so please change your shop system so that it is possible to select "Sachsen". maybe switch "Sachsen-Annhalt's" abbrevation to SAA or something.

Thanks for pointing that out. We are investigating the issue. The abbreviations are different in the system. Sachsen uses SAS and Sachsen-Annhalt uses SAC.
