    Apple Newton May Be Back

    Apple Newton May Be Back-einstein_emulator-jpgSlashdot reports from the Worldwide Newton Conference 2004 that we might just see the Newton OS in PDAs next year. Paul Guyot demostrated the Einstein Emulator, an emulator that will eventually allow the Newton OS to run on top of Unix on PDAs. In my opinion, that will no longer be called an operating system. Running an emulator can never be compared to a full fledged operating system that has been designed for the hardware.
