Thread: Rotary QLauncher v1.2b1

Rotary QLauncher v1.2b1 is now available.

Changes include better transparency, no grainy look. And moved the drawing operation to ARM code, so it should be faster.

UX50 issue app not launching issue has not been fixed yet. Will probably look at it tomorrow. I have a slight hunch on what's causing the problem.

The new version looks great and appears to be much more stable to previous versions (I don't get any crashes when I configure the program for the first time like I used to) and the rendering is very nice! However, I am finding that somehow the program negatively affects the running of WordSmith Memos v. 2.2.26 (it makes all of the text unlegible -- as if a black highlighter was used where any text would normally appear... the only way you can view the text is if you mark it (as if you were about to edit it)). An installed and active Rotary QLaunch also changed the color scheme on an Ultralingua (German-English) Dictionary product I have (but I can still read everything on this program). I didn't check how other programs I had may be affected (not enough time) -- but the fact that it makes WordSmith unusable was enough for me to have to uninstall it.

Any idea on what the problem is and how it can be solved? I'd love to be able to use this most recent version as it appears to be a nice improvement over the previous one(s). As it stands now, I'm still using the original version as it seems to run best of all the versions so far on my Palm Tungsten T3.

Version 1.22 has been released which solves incompatabilities with other applications. You can get it from Palmgear. Thank you.

Thank You for a quick fix! From what I can see now, everything is running very well indeed with version 1.22 on my Tungsten T3 -- no more "funky" behavior from other programs Thank you for a wonderful product -- I find it very useful...

Keep up the great work!
