Thread: 2GB GMail

As Google turns one, they have increased their e-mail storage from 1GB to 2GB! They even have a counter of the size that keeps increasing beyond 2GB! Google is crazy. Do they have stacks of servers with terabyte harddisks just dying to be used or something? Anyway, if you don't already have a Gmail account and want one, just contact me via pm or e-mail. I'll be glad to send an invite over. They keep topping up the 50 invites allocation no matter how many times I use it, so there're lots to go around. Interestingly, GMail is still in beta, after a year, with no fixed schedule on an upcoming official release, although Georges Harik, Gmail product management director, says that the release is just round the corner. GMail reminds me of one of those closing down sale stores that have been closing down for more than a year, but the difference is that this one is going up.

Ok, I can't stand it anymore - I have to try this! I'd like one of those invitations if you still have one.
