The rumored palmOne LiveDrive, otherwise known as the Tungsten T6, may be true after all, according to this report by Tapwave. The Tungsten T6 is going to be a thick but sexy upgrade to the Tungsten lineup with an integrated 4GB hard disk. That is a lot of storage space and according to Tapwave, is initially targeted at pharmaceutical companies. A consumer edition is expected some time in June with a price tag of $499. What's interesting is the battery life of the device. "We jokingly refer to it as the ******-edition...using the hard drive non-stop it can last up to six hours before it goes into sleep mode." That is great news! Now, all we need is to integrate the phone/gprs/edge functionality of the Treo 650 into that with 3G and I'll be the first in line to grab it.
