UX-50 and Cell already using Bluetooth.

Hi there, love the product, and bought it, but may have to dump it.

Here is what I figured out is happening:

I have a BT Cell Phone, and a BT Headset. They are always connected as I want incoming calls to ring on my headset. However, since they are always connected they do not allow anotheer connection from another BT device, thereby I have to enter my password each and every time. It seems as they just ignore the Sony Clie. If I break the connection between the two devices, bluekey works every time.

Is there a way to look for visible BT devices, but not connect to them? I know it won't be as secure, but I have no other choice. I don't mind leaving my BT devices visible.

That's strange... the cell and the headset should not be maintaining the connection unless there's a call. On my t68i and hbh-30 headset, both devices will be on but in standby mode. When a call comes in, the cell phone will transfer the call to the headset. Which combination of phone and headset are you using?

Re: UX-50 and Cell already using Bluetooth.

I use a LG 325 and a Jabra BT800. I think the LG shows a BT connection all the time with the headset, every headset I ever had. Without a connection, the headset won't ring and it will take a long time to pick up a call just using the headset buttons (Have to make BT connection, then transfer call). Do you think there may be a way to just check to see if the BT device is in range, but not connect to it? I am sure as BT becomes more popular, people will want to authenticate to devices already connected (I.E Keyboards, Laptop-cellphone, PC-headphones) and I don't think (Could be wrong) many BT devices can be connected to > 1 BT device at once.
    Thanks!!

Thanks, as I can't use your product currently. I realized my palm cannot even connect to my phone, via bluetooth, if the headset is connected. I anxiously await the next version.
