Thread: iPod nano Economical Crystal Shield

I was wondering whether the iPod nano Economical Crystal Shield would be a matt type material (fingerprints dont appear) or a clear type (fingerprint magnet) on a black ipod.

Hi exo, the iPod nano Economical Crystal Shields are smooth, which means that they're more clear than matt. We will honestly recommend the purchase of our Silicon Overlay at iPod nano Silicon Overlay instead if you want a protector that's much clearer.

We have not tested how resistant both products are to fingerprints but we've not had any complains thus far. They should however be more fingerprint resistant compared to the standard materials used on the iPod. The Silicon Overlays come with a free microfibre cloth to wipe the iPod before application. This same cloth can be used to clean the overlay periodically should fingerprints appear.

Actually, I'm looking for one that isn't so clear as it would be less likely to pick up fingerprints and smudges which are very obvious on a black ipod. It kinda makes the black ipod look 'dirty'.
