Thread: warranty?

my istyles sticker for my ipod nano first generation is peeling at the corners and i was wondering if i could get a new one. i dont have the package it came in.

im pretty sure its not from me damaging it . it was like that the first time i put it on and its just been bugging me so maybe if u have a way to fix it? also the picture is scratched in a couple places and overall im just disappointed.

I'm afraid that what you have experienced is due to abuse inflicted on the skin by external objects and this cannot be covered by any warranty.

These skins will last an extremely long time, longer than the lifespan of the device, because of the UV resistant ink used which lasts for 5 - 8 years even when exposed to sunlight and the layer of laminate applied over the artwork to protect it from scratches. These skins are sturdy but they are not indestructible and will scratch if leave them in a bag next to a set of keys for example.

If the edges were not pasted firmly and were subsequently subject to repeated contacts/rubs with an external device, they will naturally lift up. It is extremely hard to scratch the picture because of the layer of laminate protecting the artwork and almost the equivalent of a penknife or a deliberate abuse with a key would have been necessary to achieve such an effect.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your skin but it appears to have taken the abuse that would have otherwise been inflicted directly onto your iPod.
