    Re: help?

Whatever spam you received did not originate from us. We have a very strong stance with regards to spam because we hate it ourselves. You've no idea how much spam we receive on e-mails and on this forum from other companies but today's technology has been very helpfully in ensuring that we do not see the majority of them. Companies who spam are only proclaiming to the world that they're struggling to get business and do not know or cannot afford an alternative channel of advertising.

You will receive e-mails from us only if you've subscribed to our newsletter, subscribed to our forum notification or placed an order with us. Our newsletters are sent infrequently, maybe about once or twice a month and they are always labelled with "(ADV)" in the subject to better comply with regulations in various countries and so that our subscribers can easily filter them into a "Newsletter" folder for consumption at their leisure. Either way, the newsletter subscription is an opt-in program with easy unsubscription options and it's for anyone who's interested in new products that we launch.

You're getting spammed because you have registered your entire e-mail address as your username in the forum. Spam bots harvest e-mail addresses from web pages and they've probably picked yours from here and any other forums/web pages that you're listed in using the same format. Instead of an e-mail of tyip1014@whateverdomain.com, do register usernames as simply tyip1014. I've updated your username to tyip1014 to prevent future harvesting from spam bots. Your login at the iStyles Forum will likewise use the new user name.
