What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how iStyles treats personal information that iStyles collects and receives, including information related to your past use of iStyles products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that iStyles does not own or control, or to people that iStyles does not employ or manage. In addition, certain iStyles associated companies such as Google have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by clicking on the links.

Information Collection and Use

iStyles collects personal information when you register with iStyles, when you use iStyles products or services, when you visit iStyles pages or the pages of certain iStyles partners, and when you enter promotions or lucky draws. iStyles may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.

When you register we ask for information such as your email address, username, and password. Once you register with iStyles and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.

iStyles collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners.

iStyles automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, iStyles cookie information, and the page you request.

iStyles uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.

iStyles does not keep personal data for longer than is necessary for those purposes for which they are collected.

iStyles has developed guidelines and implemented procedures to govern the destruction of personal data that are no longer required to fulfill the identified purposes.

It is the responsibility of the consumer to keep all personal information accurate and up to date in the Account Settings.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

iStyles does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

• We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with iStyles under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help iStyles communicate with you about offers from iStyles and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
• We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
• We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of iStyles's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
• We transfer information about you if iStyles is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, iStyles will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

iStyles displays targeted advertisements based on personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the targeting criteria - for example, women ages 18-24 from a particular geographic area.

• iStyles does not provide any personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will make the assumption that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

Other than information self-disclosed for public use by the user in the iStyles Forums, iStyles would not display or make publicly available, whether through online directories, customer lists or otherwise, the personally identifiable information collected.

Cookies

iStyles may set and access iStyles cookies on your computer. These cookies are used to keep track of the user preferences for the various services on the iStyles website for a better browsing experience.

iStyles lets other companies that show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to iStyles's cookies.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

You can edit your iStyles Account Information, including your marketing preferences, at any time.

New categories of marketing communications may be added to the Marketing Preferences page from time to time. Users who visit this page can opt out of receiving future marketing communications from these new categories or they can unsubscribe by following instructions contained in the messages they receive.

iStyles reserves the right to send you certain communications relating to the iStyles service, such as service announcements, and administrative messages, that are considered part of your iStyles account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.

iStyles allow consumers the right to access their personal information. Consumers can access their personal information by using their respective username and password to gain access to their personal information.

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update or remove your personal data at the Account Settings page or by contacting our Customer Support.

iStyles will respond to our customer’s request within a reasonable time and will charge / will not charge a reasonable fee / a fee for providing the information or data requested for.

Confidentiality and Security

iStyles limits access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

iStyles has physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, copying, use, alteration, accidental loss or theft, destruction or damage.

Information Security Policy

iStyles Pte Ltd is committed to protecting the confidentiality and integrity of personal information you submit. Our secure server encrypts all personal information (including name, address, credit card number and contact details) so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

iStyles uses True BusinessID from GeoTrust to ensure information security. True BusinessID™ from GeoTrust® is the ultimate online security and trust solution delivering both 128-bit SSL security and the True Site™ trust mark providing third-party website identity validation.

Sites secured with GeoTrust's True BusinessID are utilizing the highest level of encryption or security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications (e.g. credit card numbers) between your browser and this site's web servers are private and secure when the SSL session is activated.

Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption

Industry standard security measures are used which is made available through your browser called Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL protocol is used to safeguard your sensitive personal information, including your credit card number, during online transactions. Using this widely accepted form of encryption, your transaction is secured from your personal computer to the computer processing your request.

As users enter the payment information, it is captured on a page that uses the SSL protocol by default. All personal and financial information is encrypted as it travels over the Internet. All financial information is stored in encrypted form on our servers. The server is also not accessible through the Internet. Credit card security will continue to be an issue of top priority for iStyles.

All SSL encryptions are protected by the 128-bit True Business ID from GeoTrust.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

iStyles may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your iStyles account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.

Mechanisms and processes are in place to receive and address complaints or inquiries about our policies and procedures relating to the handling of personal data. Appropriate measures taken to amend policies and procedures if a complaint is found to be justified.
