Cases are available for other electronics but it is important never to enclose a 12-inch Apple MacBook in a case.
Computing devices can become hot and they need to dissipate heat during operation. If the 12-inch Apple MacBook is enclosed in a case, the device will not be able to "breath" as well, resulting in higher operating temperatures that can cause reduced performance and shorten electronics lifespan.
We recommend using a Skin for styling and scratch protection - when you need to transport the 12-inch Apple MacBook, put it in a padded sleeve or bag.
The Matte finish is a non-glossy, satin-type finish that give Skins an arty look and feel (art pieces, professional photos, canvases are usually matte). It is fingerprint and smudge resistant, and looks gorgeous with most designs.
The Gloss finish is a shiny finish that gives Skins an expensive, classy and sophisticated look (like a really shiny car). Designs look more vibrant with a gloss finish.
Awesome! Just as described. Not tacky or gooey but adhere well. No lifted edges at all. Only thing I might chance is selecting glossy vs matte finish. Regardless it looks great. I'm already thinking about buying another kit just in case I want to change up the appearance. iStyle skins are the bomb! One critique though. Some instructions would be great. I did go to the website and watched the video to figure it out. Had to go slow and back up often until I figured it out.Michael Polk, United States
