We are glad that you liked the service but we are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product, Skins are adhesive based products as described on the product pages, for example, for the product you purchased. Of course, much more goes into the creation of a Skin and more information is available on the product page (high quality cast vinyl, UV resistant ink, special weaved adhesive, high-resolution prints, protective laminate)
Skins can be used with other cases (eg, underneath a translucent silicone case or clear crystal case) if you require the extra protection of these cases but our customers generally prefer using Skins on their own as. Skins are good for low profile protection without adding any bulk (eg, scratch protection for the scratchable MacBook unibody) and they can style devices in ways that no case can achieve.

We started with one order and we loved the skin so much, we keep coming back. My son got the composition skin for his Macbook Air. He uses his computer at school everyday and he didn't want to stand out. Now you don't even notice the computer sitting on his desk! In addition to the great products, the outstanding customer service dept. has quickly responded to my emails. I had problems entering the coupon code and they resolved the issue in under 24hrs.! I would highly recommend iStyles.

I purchased both a stock skin as well as a custom one.
Especially for the later, i couldn't imagine that the result would be that good.

iStyles/5I purchased skins for a X Box 360, X Box Connect, Wii, Wii Controllers and Controllers for the X Box. All of these were "Satin Black" so as to cover the original "white plastic" that they were made from. I simply wanted to "hide" them in my audio cabinet. Now I have BLACK AND WHITE system items behind the glass. They did not cover the entire item, thus leaving white to show. A "skin" covers, it does not "patch" in spots. Great overall! I just kind of wish that I had known not to put a case over the front skin. The back skin stayed on just fine but the front is all peeled away and bunched up on the sides and corners now. No big deal though, just something to put in the instructions to not do haha.
iStyles/5If you possess the skills to measure, cut and trim (Most of us learn that in kindergarten) you can order a large sheet and skin multiple items. With one sheet, I was able to skin my ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700 Tablet, my HTC EVO 4G phone, my son's Nintendo 3DS XL, my wife's cell phone and my daughters Zune, with some left over! The skin I ordered for my iPod classic looks as it does on the website, was easy to apply, (I even took it off and reapplied a few times without it losing its stick), and looks nice on my iPod. No complaints! :)

I can recommend spraying a fine mist of water on large surfaces before applying the skins. That way it is easy to adjust it right after the application. When it is perfect, just use a soft cloth to work out all the air pockets and water, starting from the center and working towards the edges. After everything is smooth, leave the product alone for some hours before using it. Works like a charm!
