The whole process of placing the order to receiving the product went to schedule. It was more beautiful than expected and easy to fix although it was useful to watch a tutorial on you tube. I also bought a matching case to use when I travel. Overall, extremely happy and I am not easily pleased!

Your order was received on 26 March and shipped on 27 March. During normal times, while USA to UK deliveries can happen in just 1+ week, it usually takes between 1 to 3 weeks and can sometimes take as long as 4 to 6 weeks in rare cases when there are delays in the postal services. We wish we can make the delivery happen more quickly but the actual delivery time very much depends on how quickly the postal services route the package.
These days are however not normal times. Postal services and international flights are operating at reduced capacity because of covid-19 and this may affect the delivery time. International postal mails ride on commercial flights and because most of these were grounded, it takes longer than usual for shipment to the destination country as every package/mail has to squeeze onto whatever few flights there are left.
According to the package tracking, your package left the USA on 28 March as it went through the international distribution centre. We noticed that there were severe delays for UK shipments that were shipped in the later half of March. These packages were routed through other countries because of the limited flights available and were taking longer than usual to arrive.
Shipments after in April appear to be fine - a recent review was posted by another British customer who received his package in just 3 business days (shipped 17 April, delivered 22 April).
It's also possible that Royal Mail attempted to deliver your package:
1) Please check your account page to ensure that your delivery address is correct. If you're not certain, please send us an email at [email protected] to check.
2) Try checking at the nearby post office. Your package will be rather large as it contains a MacBook Skin and it is likely that the postman could not fit it into your mailbox. He should have left a note for the collection of this package from the nearby post office but this note is sometimes misplaced. Please drop by the post office that services your area, quote USPS delivery id LJ594392315US and ask if they have a package for you. Explain that it will be a large and flat cardboard envelope that might not have fitted in your mailbox. Post offices usually keep such mails in a 'undeliverable drawer'.
If your package is not there, it means that they have not finished routing the mail to you. Such deliveries usually happen within 1 to 3 weeks but it can take longer because of covid-19 disruptions.
Please send us an email at [email protected] if you do not receive this package by 15 May. We will ship another package to you if it does not arrive by this date.

iStyles5/I bought a MacBook Pro 13" NON-Retina skin for my late 2011 MacBook Pro 13". The skin description states that it would fit all 13" non-retina MacBook Pros. However, the skin did not fit edge to edge- it was too small. In fact, it left almost a centimeter of exposed case all around its perimeter. It looks awful that way- very ill fitted- so I just threw it out. In addition, I purchased the exterior only skin expecting both a top and bottom skin to cover the exterior of my MacBook, but instead i received only the top skin. We're sorry to hear that you were not happy with the Skin. The "Outer Skin only" (not "Skins") option for the White Marble MacBook Pro 13" Skin that you purchased only comes with the lid Skin. The bottom of the MacBook Pro 13" gets hot during operation and it is important to allow this surface to breath. This bottom area is rarely seen as it is against the table and it's protected from scratches by its rubber feet.
The large lid Skins are not cut to fit absolutely precisely with zero tolerance. There're cut very slightly smaller (1 to 2 mm all around) to allow for slight stretching during the application. The Skin has to be centered on the lid (around the Apple logo) and if applied without stretching, will result in a silver "frame" of the artwork. If the Skins are cut precisely to the lid size, most people will end up with Skin edges that overhang the edge. A slightly smaller cut allows for a more "forgiving" Skin application. In fact, if you're careful, you can very gently stretch the whole piece into place for a perfect fit during the Skin application, but it's easiest to simply centre it.

The MacBook inner Skins are precision cut to cover the area around the keyboard - the complexity and large size of this surface does make Skin alignment a little more tricky but the final effect when it's done properly is well worth the effort. What we generally do during Skin application is to first align the Skin to the major physical cutouts, and in this case, that will be the trackpad area. Peel the whole inner Skin off and start with the bottom half; hold the Skin at both ends of the wrist rest area and gently position until it aligns perfectly to the trackpad. One trick will be to keep the top half (the thin stripes that go beside the keyboard) folded back over the bottom half such that the stripes do not get stuck on your MacBook when you're positioning the bottom half. Once you've aligned the trackpad, everything else will fall in place with a little guidance.
Do not press the Skin down until you are happy with the alignment - this makes it easier to reposition the Skin if the first alignment attempts fail.
When you're happy with the alignment, start pressing the Skin down firmly from the inside out so that bubbles will not get caught. Even if bubbles do get caught, they can be pressed out with a finger as the Skin comes with a special weaved adhesive that allows for air pockets to be "massaged" out.
We can get another replacement inner Skin made for you to give the Skin application another go at no charge and you just have to cover the shipping cost to get this new package to you.

The Outer/Inner Combo MacBook Air 13" Skin sets will cover the lid and area around the keyboard on your MacBook but they will not include a bottom Skin. You can technically purchase another "Outer lid" Skin and make cuts manually for the rubber feet on the bottom of your MacBook but we will not recommend doing so. The unibody construction of the MacBook acts as a heat sink and helps to dissipate heat during operation. If the bottom area is covered, the MacBook will not be able to "breath" as well, resulting in higher operating temperatures that can cause reduced performance and shorten electronics lifespan.
We recommend using the Skin for styling and scratch protection - when you need to transport the MacBook, put it in a padded sleeve (like the one you purchased too) or bag. The bottom of the MacBook does not require a Skin as it's usually facing a surface (eg, on a table), it does not come into direct contact with this surface (will not get scratched) because of the rubber feet on the bottom and people rarely see this surface as it's either on the table or packed in a bag.

I started out with a possible order at their posted price, but then hesitated to complete the transaction when I discovered it was in US funds since it put the cost above my budget. Delivery didn't take long.
After receiving the product I was positively surprised with how good it actually looks.
You can say just from looking at it that it was printed just few days ago and they even sent it (the sticker) not cut out but with whole surroundings so you may use those pieces for anything you want.
It's really great because they added small sticker for MacBook charger too.
It's incredible how well it lies on the surface of my MacBook body especially considering the fact that I had many really deep scratches on it.
The only thing if I may say was a negative surprise. I don't know if I'm supposed to stretch it strong but it doesn't really cover whole surface of my MacBook . It lacks about 2mm on each side.

Thank you for the review. The MacBook Skins are cut very slightly smaller so that they're easier to apply. The MacBook Retina 15-inch is rather large at 35.89cm x 24.71cm - if the Skin is cut precisely to fit and a customer accidentally stretches the Skin by a little, it will result in an overhanging Skin edge (which is worse). The Skin can be stretched gently into place to cover the last 1 to 2mm for an absolutely perfect fit if you wish but it's all right to leave your Skin application as it is because this tiny gap is not visible compared to the overall Skin size and it helps reduce the possibility of the Skin edge getting caught and damaged.
We're glad that the package arrived quickly, and that you liked how the Skin covered the deep scratches on your MacBook and how good the Skin looks on the whole.

iStyles5/iStyles is great, except for one thing - they use USPS to ship orders. In my case, "two-day priority" shipment took more than a week to arrive - the order addressed to a Virginia address came to Pennsylvania and then was diverted to Alabama (??) before making its way to Virginia. As a result, the package missed my kid's birthday and obviously didn't have the effect it was meant to. iStyles should probably drop USPS and use commercial carriers (without 50% premium to the item price). We have different shipping options available, ranging from USPS First-class that starts from just $2 but takes between 1 to 3 weeks for delivery, to UPS Express that takes just 1 business day for delivery but can be costly (because they are a private courier service). The USPS Priority shipping option that you selected is a good compromise between the two as it only cost a few dollars more than First-class but they're still relatively quick. Ignore the "2-day" claim on USPS' website as that is misleading and we never advertise it as such - USPS Priority usually takes between 3 to 5 business days for delivery and the "estimated shipping date" that we quote at checkout on our site reflects this turnaround time.
1 to 2 business days are indeed required for the production of an order as all Skins and Cases are freshly baked and ship directly from the production facility. Your order was received on Thursday night (2 April), the warehouse was close over the weekend, the package was shipped on Monday morning (6 April) and delivered on the Monday after (13 April). This is within the estimated delivery time quoted when you checked out. If you placed the order a day earlier (on Wednesday), you probably would have avoided hitting both weekends - the package would have shipped on Friday and would have been delivered between 8 to 10 April.

Skins are sturdy and will usually outlast the device if applied properly but they can stretch if pulled too hard during the application process. The inner MacBook Skins are more difficult to apply as you've experienced because of their large size and thin stripes, but the final result will be well worth the effort. The trick is simply not to press the Skin down until you are happy with the alignment, and to peel off gently if you need to reposition, especially so at the thin Skin areas (such as those around the trackpad).

iStyles5/First off the finish on the macbook pro retina decal is very pixelated and doesn't fit well around the edges of my laptop or around the speakers. I found it to be very difficult to apply without stretching the vinyl. Even the free background was pixelated and less-than-standard definition. Not worth $30+ especially now that its worthless. The "Black Woodgrain" pattern of your Skin was designed to mimic the look of black woodgrain and there is unfortunately a certain level of fuzziness to achieve this effect.

iStyles5/Bought a carbon fiber skin for my macbook pro 13 retina without cutout for the top logo. Ordered outer and inner skins. Expected there would be a bottom, but since it's not pictured I should have known better. Fit on the top is not good. I was able to center it on the top fine, but there is absolutely no way to get it on the top without leaving a very small border around all four edges. It's simply just a mm or two too small in all directions. Also even though the skin covers the logo, the skin is not fully opaque and the logo glows through it. It looks very bad. 1) The "Outer" MacBook Skin does not cover the bottom because it is important to allow the device to "breath" during normal operation. This bottom area gets hot and the unibody acts as a heat sink - if it is covered, the heat will not be able to dissipate properly. The description states coverage for the top for the outer Skin and the area around the keyboard and trackpad for the inner Skin. We recommend using a Skin for styling and protection of the scratchable unibody during normal operation and when transporting the MacBook, put it in a padded sleeve or bag.
2) The Skin is opaque but the MacBook logo glow will be visible softly in very dim light conditions. Most customers like this effect and this is only visible in dim lighting. (the logo can be cut out for full visibility)
3) The top Skin will fit. If it's just an mm off on yours (out of the huge surface area on the lid Skin), it means that the Skin can be better stretched into place during the application process.

Of course, much more goes into the creation of a Skin and more information is available on the product page (high quality cast vinyl, UV resistant ink, special weaved adhesive, high-resolution prints, protective laminate)
Skins can be used with other cases (eg, underneath a translucent silicone case or clear crystal case) if you require the extra protection of these cases but our customers generally prefer using Skins on their own as. Skins are good for low profile protection without adding any bulk (eg, scratch protection for the scratchable MacBook unibody) and they can style devices in ways that no case can achieve.

We started with one order and we loved the skin so much, we keep coming back. My son got the composition skin for his Macbook Air. He uses his computer at school everyday and he didn't want to stand out. Now you don't even notice the computer sitting on his desk! In addition to the great products, the outstanding customer service dept. has quickly responded to my emails. I had problems entering the coupon code and they resolved the issue in under 24hrs.! iStyles5/The ordering was simple and easy (once you manage to choose from the thousands of different styles). The fitting of the ordered products was perfect for the the two MacBook Airs, but not perfect for my HTC One X.B. Alverborg, Sweden, 4 January 2013
I can recommend spraying a fine mist of water on large surfaces before applying the skins. That way it is easy to adjust it right after the application. When it is perfect, just use a soft cloth to work out all the air pockets and water, starting from the center and working towards the edges. After everything is smooth, leave the product alone for some hours before using it. Works like a charm!
