    I chose to design my own skin decal. The site made this extremely easy to do and took very little time. The matte finish was perfect for the design. It was simple to apply and looks fantastic. I will do business with iStyles again. Thanks.

    Received the "Aspen" Macbook 11-inch skin today.. First, it arrived quickly, shipped & to me in 3 days. Love the skin & the matte finish - it was exactly what I wanted & was as close to the same colors as could possible be on their website. I had no problems at all putting it on my computer…the directions that are included are simple & super easy to understand. The skin fits perfectly & looks amazing! I will be ordering a second "outer" skin to put on the back (or bottom) of my Mac to protect it also…I know I'll have to make a few modifications to it, but to me, it's well worth the money to get. Also downloaded the matching wallpaper - looks great & took all of about 2 minutes to download. I'll definitely be buying skins from them in the future!

    We will not however recommend getting another Skin for the bottom of your MacBook. The unibody construction of the MacBook acts as a heat sink and helps to dissipate heat during operation. If the bottom area is covered, the MacBook will not be able to "breath" as well.

    We recommend using the Skin for styling and scratch protection and when you need to transport the MacBook, put it in a padded sleeve or bag. The bottom of the MacBook does not require a Skin as it's usually facing a surface (eg, on a table) and it does not come into direct contact with this surface (will not get scratched) because of the rubber feet on the bottom.

    Feel free to drop by for Skins (or cases) for your other devices though!

    This was my fourth purchase from Istyles.com and I have to say that I'm still pleased with their service. I have not had any problems, they have tons of styles to choose from, skins for everything, and it always arrives on time in the mail. My first skin was for my psp 3000, second was my kindle, third I bought for a friend's kindle because he loved mine so much, and the fourth was for my husband's new 2014 Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Next time, I will probably get one for my laptop. I get lots of compliments on all my skins from friends and family, and I love the idea of expressing myself through my gadgets with Istyles' skins.

    Service was great, item was received in good condition and with full instructions as to how to install the skin. Item was exactly as described and the wallpaper attached to the order was high resolution and looks great on my phone. Addicted to matching wallpapers and skins now. Thanks!

    I ordered the aurora skin for my kobo glo in the matte finish, and it looks awesome. It did not take long for my order to arrive in Canada , I was shocked to find it in my mailbox so soon.
    The matte is great so as not to be too distracting while reading.
    Definitely worth the money!

    well as i ordered these a week before xmas and they came a week after to say I'm impressed is an understatement and having put them onto the devices they where for they look awesome and made them look like brand new items thanx a lot i ail be using you again. xx

    Everything was fine, except that I thought I would buy a case and not "only" stickers. But maybe that was my fault. Perhaps I skiped it. Now I find it even better!

    I received my Lifeproof skin in 3 days during the Christmas crazy period. I was shocked. The skin looks great on my phone!

    First off the finish on the macbook pro retina decal is very pixelated and doesn't fit well around the edges of my laptop or around the speakers. I found it to be very difficult to apply without stretching the vinyl. Even the free background was pixelated and less-than-standard definition. Not worth $30+ especially now that its worthless. Wasted time and money. :/

    We're sorry to hear that you had problems with the application. The MacBook Skins are more difficult to apply because of the large size and layout but the end result is usually well worth the effort.

    The "Black Woodgrain" pattern of your Skin was designed to mimic the look of black woodgrain and there is unfortunately a certain level of fuzziness to achieve this effect.

    We can get a replacement Skin (of another design) made for you at no charge and you just have to cover the shipping cost to get it to you. If you would like to go for this replacement, please contact us at [email protected]

    Update: As per our correspondence, we will be reshipping the same design to you. We're glad that you liked the Skin after all and assume that your initial dissatisfaction was because the Skin was damaged during the application process. We hope that the new Skin will work better for you.

    I have purchased many skins from istyles and have always been satisfied. I like to change my skins often, so the fact that I can buy them affordably is a plus. I have never had an issue with quality either. Easy to install, good quality and a great price...what more can you ask for. give them a try.

    While iStyles have a good customer support service and great delivery speed, I'm obliged to give only 2-stars for the following reasons:

    1. The two Skins I had ordered for my Sony Reader and 3DS XL, while very pretty, were not as good as shown on the website. Their colors are much darker, with a lower image quality/resolution.

    2. They are also very, very difficult to apply and they can be scrapped very easily. I scrapped mine, so I asked for a replacement and I got them again.

    3. Those Skins leave a strong, old plastic-like odor on the device they are put on as soon as you remove them. I had to leave my Sony device at ’free air’ for one full day to remove the odor. Not very pleasant.

    4. If you are carrying your device in a hard case for protection, like the book-style case for the Sony Reader, the skins will peel and get scrapped will the constant removal/put back the device in.


    In the end, I did not keep my replacement Skins. The one for my Sony Reader was peel off my device in less than a day (explained in #4), and the other, for my 3DS XL, were too difficult to put on without scrapping it again. That’s why I’m leaving only 2-stars for iStyles and furthermore I do not recommend it. Beside, you cannot get refunded, so I lost some $$$ in all of this.

    Thank you for the feedback. We're glad that you liked the service but sorry to hear that it did not work out for you in the end despite the free replacement of Skins that were damaged during the Skin application process.

    The Skins have a special weaved adhesive that allow for easy repositioning and bubble free application. However, the actual application mileage varies from person to person and it can indeed take a little more effort for some devices depending on the layout. The final result will be well worth the effort. It is important that the device is well cleaned prior to application. If applied properly and subject to normal wear and tear, a Skin will last for years.

    It is indeed possible that the Skins had a "freshly baked" smell as the products were made on demand, they were packed and shipped immediately after production, and you received yours just a week after they were made. We've not had complaints of "odor" from other customers but this "smell" will go away rather quickly as you've experienced.

    We are just as disappointed as you are that it did not work out. Thank you for stopping by anyway.
