Our Skins are made of premium grade adhesive-backed cast vinyl, then sealed with a matte or gloss laminate for long-lasting protection. Cast vinyl is of notably higher quality and cost roughly 2.5 times as much as the usual calendared vinyl used elsewhere. Unlike calendared vinyl, cast vinyl does not discolour, is much less prone to shrinkage over time, much thinner, and can conform easily to just about any curve.
Cast vinyl is sturdy and will generally outlast the lifespan of the device but the material can stretch if pulled hard and this was probably what happened when you removed the Skin. We're not sure how you tore the Skin as that will require a fair amount of force - Skins have to be peeled off gently and then pasted on carefully. These are not exactly the rip off and slap on type. Care must be taken during the application process and the result will be well worth the effort.

iStyles/5The iStyles skins are high quality premium decals. My husband and I have the same LifeProof case so we needed a way to tell them apart. It was pretty cool to be able to make a custom skin from a favorite travel photo. Then I made my wallpaper on my phone the same; turned out GREAT! To enhance the front I also moved my icons to the next page so I can see my favorite travel pic without disruption from the icons. I have had two other skins from other companies with poor to OK quality. The iStyles is the premium of them all. I really like the matt finish as opposed to the super shiny vinyl. The Skin printers output at ultra high resolutions but the print quality of custom designs very much depends on the resolution of the image used. Can you send us an email at [email protected] with the image that you used so that we can examine it further to see what might have gone wrong? Was there a resolution warning on the Skin customizer when you added your image?

I Love Thomas Kinkade so I bought the phone case for my Galaxy S7 and it's annoying how it barely protects my phone and doesn't protest the buttons on the phone! Thank you for your review. The Galaxy S7 Hybrid Cases were designed be slim cases but yet come with a slim layer of shock absorbing material to protect the phone during a fall.
It sounds like the Bumper Case version of the same design may work better for you as Bumper Cases come with much more shock absorbing material all around - they're also thicker.
The buttons are not covered as these are not fragile parts of the phone and it's not necessary to hinder their functionality. We've tested cases that cover buttons and never liked any of them because of how terrible they made these buttons feel.
